Elizabeth McGovern has appeared on screen, on television, and on stage. On July 18, 1961, she entered the world. While still a Juilliard student in 1980, McGovern was offered a role in her first film, Ordinary People. She had a role as the girlfriend of troubled teen Timothy Hutton.
