Jason Marsden Bio

Jason Christopher Marsden is an American actor and director born on January 3, 1975. He is most known for his work as a voice actor in various animated films and television shows, video games, and other media. His voice works as the official voice of the Disney character Max Goof, which he has done since 1995, and his part as Chester McBadbat in The Fairly OddParents has brought him the most fame.

Chase Young in Xiaolin Showdown, Nermal in The Garfield Show, and the title character in the award-winning and critically acclaimed video game trilogy Tak and the Power of Juju from 2003 to 2005 (Tak and the Power of Juju, Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams, and Tak: The Great Juju Challenge). This video game trilogy was released between 2003 and 2005.

Marsden landed his first role in a professional production in 1986 when he was cast as A. J. Quartermaine on the American television series General Hospital. Marsden landed his first significant film part in the science fiction thriller Robot Jox in 1987, when he was just twelve years old. The movie wasn’t released for another two years after it was filmed due to the studio’s ongoing financial issues and the company’s impending bankruptcy.

Soon after this, he was cast in the part of Eddie Munster in the reimagined version of The Munsters that was shown on television and was dubbed The Munsters Today. At the same time, he also had his first voice acting part in a cartoon, which was that of Cavin in the final seasons of the Disney TV series Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears. In addition to these roles, he was the youthful announcer for the (new) Mickey Mouse Club and Disney Infomercials.

Marsden maintained his career by appearing as a guest star on several popular television programs. In the animated series Peter Pan and the Pirates, which aired for two seasons beginning in 1990, he provided the voice of Peter Pan. Two years later, in 1992, he was cast as Dash X in Eerie, Indiana. In Disney’s Hocus Pocus, he gave the voice to Thackery Binx, a black cat, and reprised the character in the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.

His subsequent appearances included providing the voice of Goofy’s son Max Goof in Disney’s A Goofy Movie (1995) and the sequel An Extremely Goofy Movie (2000). He also had a supporting part in the 1996 film White Squall. Marsden also provided the voice of Garrett Miller on the animated series Extreme Ghostbusters. He voiced the younger versions of Shere Khan and King Louie in the Disney television series Jungle Cubs, a prequel to the critically acclaimed film The Jungle Book. Marsden also resumed his role as Max Goof on the Disney television series House of Mouse.

After committing to Dragon Con, Marsden did not reprise his role as Nelson in the sequel Fuller House; instead, Hal Sparks (who replaced Marsden as Tak in Tak and the Power of Juju series based on the 2003 video game of the same name) took over the role. Some other on-camera parts were that of Rich Halke (J.T.’s best friend) in Step by Step, which was from 1995 until the show’s cancellation in 1998, and Nelson Burkhard (D.J.

Michael Jacobs, the show’s writer, and producer, gave him the role of “Jason” on Boy Meets World. Jason had previously collaborated with Michael Jacobs on the pilot episode of Almost Home, a revival of The Torkelsons that did not get an entire season order. When it came time for Mr. Feeny (played by William Daniels) to address “Jason,” the creators felt it might be hilarious if Mr. Feeny addressed Jason by his actual last name instead of the one he was using in the front.

As a result of Jason’s agreement, the role of Eric Matthews’ closest buddy “Jason Marsden” was portrayed by Jason Marsden. When Jason Marsden left Boy Meets World after completing the second season, his role was taken over by Jack Hunter, who Matthew Lawrence played in seasons three through seven. In the television movie Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt, aired in 2002, he portrayed the younger version of Burt Ward/Robin.

In the animated film Tarzan, produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios in 1999, he appeared as a gorilla family member. Kevin Lima, who directed this movie and previously oversaw “A Goofy Movie,” deserves much credit. Since the release of Step by Step, Marsden has lent his voice to a variety of animated television productions as well as video games. It also provided the voice of Kovu in The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride (1998), a film released only on home video, and narrated several of the additional features included on the Lion King’s other edition DVD.

In the American dubbed version of Spirited Away (2001), he provided the voice for Haku. Additionally, he has lent his voice to the character of Richie Foley/Gear in the television series Static Shock. He provided the voice for various characters in Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, the most notable of which were Lilarcor, the talking sword, and Cernd, the druid. His debut as a director came in the form of an episode of the Nickelodeon television series The Journey of Allen Strange (1997).

He has done voice-over work on multiple DC Comics-inspired animated series; as Clark Kent as a teenager in Superman: The Animated Series, Snapper Carr in Justice League, Billy Numerous in Teen Titans, as Donny Grasso on an episode of Batman Beyond, as Danger Duck in Loonatics Unleashed and as the villain Firefly in The Batman and as Paco in Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

His most recent roles were as Impulse and Atom in the animated series Young Justice: Invasion. Additionally, from 2003 to 2006, he provided the voice of Chase Young in the Xiaolin Showdown. In addition to that, he provided the voice of Tak for the video games Tak and the Power of Juju, Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams, and Tak: The Great Juju Challenge. In the Fallout video game series, he provided the voice for two individuals that may be recruited as companions: Myron in Fallout 2 (1998) and Boone in Fallout: New Vegas (2010).
