Lana Wachowski is a screenwriter, director, and producer who is most known for her collaboration with her sister Lilly Wachowski on the creation of The Matrix trilogy. Lana also writes comic books. Lana Wachowski was born in the year 1965 in the city of Chicago. Her mother, Lynne (née Luckinbill), was a nurse and a painter. Her uncle Laurence Luckinbill was an actor. Her father, Ron Wachowski, was a Polish-American businessman named Ron Wachowski.
Lana has two other sisters in addition to her sister Lilly. She had her elementary education at Kellogg School, which is located in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago. In 1983, she graduated from Whitney Young High School, which is renowned for its academic programs in the sciences and performing arts.
