Nadia Grace Scott was given the name Naomi Scott on May 6, 1993, in the London borough of Hounslow. She was born to a Gujarati Indian mother, Usha Scott (née Joshi), and an English father, Christopher Scott, in Hounslow, England. Her mother was born in Uganda and emigrated to England when she was a little child with her father. Naomi’s parents are pastors at the ‘Bridge Church’ in Woodford, London, where Naomi was born and raised. Joshua is her older brother, who she adores.

During her time at school, she was a frequent performer in drama and musical performances.

Naomi began her professional singing career as a member of the ‘Bridge Church Youth Band.’ Kéllé Bryan, a British singer, actress, and television personality who is best known as a member of the British R&B girl group ‘Eternal,’ was the first to notice her. As a result of this, Naomi signed a contract with Bryan’s talent agency. Later, Naomi collaborated with the English songwriting and production company ‘Xenomania’ on a number of projects. In 2009, she landed her first significant acting job as ‘Megan’ in the second season of the ‘Disney Channel UK’ series ‘Life Bites,’ in which she starred as the title character. “Life Bites – Pillole di vida” was an adaptation of the original ‘Disney Channel Italy’ series named “Life Bites – Pillole di vita,” in which she starred in eleven episodes.

‘Mohini “Mo” Banarjee’ was the title character in the 2010 American adolescent musical drama ‘Lemonade Mouth,’ which she was cast in after auditioning via video conference from her home in London. This was her first acting role with a production firm based in the United States. The film is based on the book of the same name by Mark Peter Hughes, which was published in 2007. On April 15, 2011, the ‘Disney Channel’ broadcasted the first episode. It was well received by the audience and assisted Naomi in gaining her first prominence as an actress in the United States.

Naomi also contributed to the soundtrack of the film ‘Lemonade Mouth,’ which was published by Walt Disney Records on April 12, 2011. Naomi also appeared in several of the songs on the album. These include her solo single ‘She’s So Gone,’ which peaked at number three on the ‘Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles’ list in the United Kingdom. She also collaborated with other members of the cast on the songs ‘More Than a Band,’ ‘Breakthrough,’ and ‘Living on a High Wire,’ among others.

She next starred as ‘Maddy Shannon,’ a 16-year-old girl in the American science-fiction series ‘Terra Nova,’ in which she was both clever and socially awkward. For a single season, the sitcom aired on ‘Fox’ from September 26 until December 19, 2011.

In the same year, she also starred in the short film ‘Hello, Again’ in the role of Maura.

Despite the fact that she appeared in the smash 2015 science-fiction picture ‘The Martian’ as the character ‘Ryoko,’ her parts were cut before the film was released. In October of that year, she was cast in one of the most memorable roles of her professional life. Jennifer Garner played the character of ‘Kimberly Hart, Pink Ranger’ in the American superhero picture titled, “Power Rangers.” The film, which is an adaptation of the same-named television series, had its world debut on March 22, 2017, at the ‘Regency Village Theater’ in Los Angeles, and was distributed in theatres throughout the United States on March 24, 2017. In recognition of her portrayal of “Kimberly Hart,” Naomi was nominated for her first ‘Teen Choice Award.’

Meanwhile, she starred as ‘Sahira Desai’ in the British detective series ‘Lewis’ from 2015 to 2016, in which she appeared on a regular basis. On August 5, 2016, she released another EP, titled ‘Promises,’ which had four songs, titled ‘Lover’s Lies,’ ‘Promises,’ ‘Fool,’ and ‘Prayer-Lude.’ She has also published two singles, titled ‘Lover’s Lies’ and ‘Promises.’ She also released the songs ‘Vows’ (2017), ‘So Low’ / ‘Undercover’ (2018), and ‘Irrelevant’ (2017), which were not included in her album (2018).

Princess Jasmine will be her character in the forthcoming American romantic fantasy–adventure film ‘Aladdin,’ directed by Guy Ritchie, in which she will appear as Princess Jasmine. Following a four-month open casting call, an announcement made during the 2017 ‘D23 Expo’ said that Naomi had been cast as ‘Jasmine,’ with Mena Massoud taking on the part of the title character, which was later confirmed. The film, which is a live-action remake of the 1992 animated ‘Disney’ feature of the same name, will be released on May 24, 2019, according to the official release date.

Also, she will appear as one of the three main “angels” in the forthcoming American action comedy ‘Charlie’s Angels,’ which will be directed by Elizabeth Banks. Among those who feature in the film are Kristen Stewart, Elizabeth Banks, Djimon Hounsou, Patrick Stewart, and Ella Balinska. The film is based on the crime–drama television series of the same name that airs on the ABC network. It is a relaunch of the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ series. The film will be released on November 1, 2019, according to the plan. Naomi has a strong bond with her parents and extended relatives. She likes singing, composing, and dancing, and she is a talented pianist and pianistic arranger. She dated Jordan Spence, a professional footballer from England, for four years before marrying him in June 2014.
