John Christopher Depp II is a multitalented American film and television actor, producer, director, screenwriter, musician, and activist. He was born on June 9, 1963, to parents John Christopher Depp and Betty Sue Palmer in Owensboro, Kentucky. After his parents divorced in 1978, Johnny found immense inspiration and drive in his mother’s new relationship with musician Robert Palmer.
