Olivia Jo Thirlby was born in New York on October 6, 1986, to a mother working in advertising and a father in the construction industry. She went to Friends Seminary, located in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan, for her education and graduated with a class of 57 other students. She was born and reared in Manhattan’s East Village.
