Nolan Ryan, often known as ‘The Ryan Express,’ holds the world record for tossing the fastest baseball, which was recorded at 100.9 miles per hour, and is widely considered to be the best in the world. He built his name as an outstanding ‘power-pitcher’ of his day, and he was regarded as the ’24th greatest pitcher of all time’ by Baseball America.
