Paige Bio

‘Paige’ is the ring name of Saraya-Jade Bevis, an English professional wrestler, and actress who is presently serving as the on-screen general manager of the WWE television show ‘SmackDown.’ She is a member of a professional wrestling family that owns and operates the ‘World Association of Wrestling’ (WAW) promotion in Norwich, England. She and her mother competed in a triple-threat tag-team bout for the World Wrestling Federation (WAW), earning the ring moniker “Britani Knight.”

Then, she obtained a deal with ‘World Wrestling Entertainment’ (WWE) and made her professional wrestling debut with ‘Florida Championship Wrestling’ (FCW), going by the ring name “Saraya.” She later signed a contract with ‘World Wrestling Entertainment’ (WWE). She subsequently went under the ring moniker “Paige” for her ‘FCW TV’ debut, which she made as a member of a tag team with Sofia Cortez.

Paige is the first woman to have held both the ‘WWE Divas Championship’ and the ‘NXT Women’s Championship’ titles at the same time in the same organization. Other titles she has held include the “German Stampede Wrestling (GSW) Ladies Championship,” the “Premier Wrestling Federation (PWF) Ladies Tag Team Championship,” the “Pro-Wrestling: EVE Championship,” and the “Real Quality Wrestling (RQW) Women’s Championship.”

She has also competed in the “Pro-Wrestling: EVE Championship.” The Wrestlers: Fighting with My Family,’ “WWE Tough Enough,” and “Total Divas” are just a few of the television shows in which she has featured. She has appeared in films such as ‘Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon,’ as well as television shows.

She operates a clothes boutique and is now in a relationship with Kalan Blehm, a member of the band ‘Attila’. Paige may have announced her retirement from professional wrestling, but she still has a bright future ahead of her. Paige was born on August 17, 1992, in Norwich, Norfolk, England, to Ricky Knight and Sweet Saraya. She is the daughter of Ricky Knight and Sweet Saraya. Her father owns a pub and her mother was a professional wrestler in their previous lives. She has a brother called Zak Zodiac and a half-brother named Roy Bevis, both of whom are professional wrestlers, and she is the youngest of the three.

She attended ‘The Hewett School’ in Norwich, where she received her bachelor’s degree in 2008. She did not want to pursue wrestling as a career choice when she was younger, and instead wanted to be a zoologist instead. However, since wrestling is a significant part of her family’s culture, she competed in her first match at the age of 13, when her father forced her to step in for a wrestler who had failed to show up.

By the age of 14, she had already taken part in a number of wrestling promotional events in Europe and the United States. While competing in singles competition, she did not have much luck. In addition, she began working as a bartender and bouncer at the age of 15 in her parents’ pub.

Paige is a member of a professional wrestling family that owns and operates the ‘WAW’ organization in Norwich. ‘Bellatrix Female Warriors,’ a business owned and controlled by her mother. As a result, wrestling was an easy decision for her as a profession. She suffers from scoliosis, yet she has been able to successfully manage her health issue.

Kevin Skaff, a musician, proposed to her in the spring of 2016. She became engaged to wrestler José Rodrguez in October 2016, however, the couple ended up breaking up the following year. She is now in a relationship with Kalan Blehm, a member of the band ‘Attila.’ In April 2006, she took up the ring moniker “Britani Knight” and teamed up with her mother in a triple-threat tag-team bout for the World Wrestling Federation (WAW).

Later, in June 2007, she became a member of the tag team ‘Norfolk Dolls,’ which went on to win the first-ever ‘World Association of Women’s Wrestling (WAWW) Tag Team Championship. Besides that, she competed in the ‘WAWW British Championship,’ where she came up short against Jetta in the finals.

Wrestling in 2009 included victories against her mother, Sweet Saraya, in the “Herts and Essex (HEW) Women’s Championship,” the “World Alliance of Women’s World Championship,” and the “Real Deal Wrestling (RDW) Women’s Championship.” Additionally, she overcame her nemesis, Jetta, in a ‘Champion against. Champion’ bout later in the same season.

The next year, she teamed up with her mother and beat Amazon and Ananya in the ‘PWF Ladies Tag Team Championship’ in Philadelphia. Towards the end of the year, she relinquished her ‘HEW’ women’s title to her mother, only to reclaim it from her in the next year. This was the same year she also won the ‘Global Strike Wrestling Ladies Championship,’ the ‘Pro-Wrestling: EVE Championship,’ and the ‘WAWW Hardcore Championship.’

In the latter half of 2011, she paired up with her mother and competed in a number of tag-team titles, but she was defeated on each occasion. Because of this, she and her mother were experiencing some stress at the time. The two of them then challenged each other to a wrestling battle, in which she beat her mother under no disqualification conditions.

She acquired a contract with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and made her professional wrestling debut at a Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) house event in January 2012 under the ring name “Saraya.” She subsequently changed her name to “Paige” for her ‘FCW TV’ debut in February 2012, and she made her professional wrestling debut as a member of a tag team with Sofia Cortez the following month. The tandem briefly worked together with Rick Victor in a few of the mixed tag-team bouts before calling it quits at the end of the year.

Paige made her debut on the third episode of ‘NXT’ after the promotion was renamed from ‘FCW.’ She was defeated by Cortez. By September 2012, she had made a successful return, beating Alicia Fox, Audrey Marie, and Sasha Banks. In 2013, she engaged in a lengthy rivalry with Summer Rae, which culminated in her defeating her in a singles match despite suffering a shoulder injury.

She subsequently went on to become the ‘NXT Women’s Champion’ for the following year. After getting promoted to the main roster and winning the ‘Divas Championship’ in 2014, she was finally able to relinquish her championship. She had multiple fights to defend her championship, and she quickly became a fan favorite after her first fight in January 2015.

Her opponents included wrestlers like Alicia Fox, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch between 2015 and 2016. She experienced several victories and losses, as well as several ailments. After breaking wellness regulations at her previous job, she was banned for 30 days in 2016. She was also accused of possessing and using prohibited narcotics.

After undergoing neck surgery in 2016, she was finally able to return to the ring in 2017. In December of the same year, she sustained another significant neck injury while competing in a six-woman tag-team bout, which forced the referee to call a halt to the contest. As a result of this, she announced her formal retirement from wrestling.

As early as the age of fourteen, the native British were given the opportunity to compete in a variety of wrestler events that took place throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. Other countries that hosted wrestler events included Belgium, France, Turkey, Denmark, Norway, Germany, and the United States.

She didn’t have much success in the beginning or in the early stages of her career, but she persisted in battling wrestlers. Paige has only had one major achievement in her life, which occurred in 2009. Her mother, Julia Hamer-Bevis (ring name Sweet Saraya), was defeated in the Herts and Essex (HEW) Women’s Championship, WAWW British Championship, and Real Deal Wrestling (RDW) Women’s Championship in the first few months of the year.

In the same year, Bevis beat Jetta in a champion vs. champion bout, and in the next year, Bevis defeated Jetta. Paige and her mother won the ‘PWF Ladies Tag Team Championship’ in 2010 after beating Amazon and Ananya in a match that was held at the time. Paige, on the other hand, came up short in her bout against her mother in the ‘HEW Women Championship.’

Despite her best efforts, Paige had a very busy year in 2011. She competed in a number of bouts but did not fare as well as she would have liked. After many losses in various fights, she was victorious in an elimination match and was crowned WAWW Hardcore Champion. In Shimmer Women Athletes, she teamed up with her mother to form the Knight Dynasty, which beat Nikki Roxx and Ariel in the process. The Knight Dynasty won the Shimmer Tag Team Championship as a result of this victory, however, they were defeated by the Seven Star Sisters in the next bout.

Paige competed in the WWW try-out bouts before signing with the organization, where she was unsuccessful in her first match but victorious in her second. This results in the young wrestler signing a deal with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in September 2011. She made her professional wrestling debut at a Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) home event in January 2012 under the ring name Saraya. Following her maiden appearance on FCW TV, the wrestler changed her ring name to Paige, which she has retained to this day.

Following that, Bevis made her broadcast debut in the ring against Sofia Cortez. It was Rick Victor’s association with Bevis and Cortez that propelled the team to victory in their battle against Audrey Marie and Aiden English. After a few more matches together, Bevis and Cortez decided to call it quits at the conclusion of the 2012 season.

Paige made her main roster debut on the 7th of April, 2014, on an episode of WWE RAW. She even praised AJ Lee, the reigning Divas Championship champion, on her successful title defense at the pay-per-view event, which she attended. AJ, on the other hand, smacked Pagie and challenged her to a title bout immediately. Bevis went on to win her first Divas Championship after defeating AJ as a result of this.

Paige became the youngest female wrestler to win the ‘Divas Championship’ and the first woman to hold both the ‘NXT Women’s Championship’ and the ‘Divas Championship’ at the same time when she achieved this feat at the age of 21. In a non-title bout against Alicia Fox, she was victorious, allowing her to retain the championship.

Paige and Lee behaved as though they were best friends throughout the tag fight in which they were paired together, but they were defeated in the bout. Similar to this, on July 21, in the post-Battleground match of the Raw broadcast, Paige and Lee worked together to defeat Emma and Natalya, resulting in a victory for the team. Bevis was victorious in yet another championship bout, this time to claim the Second Divas Championship.

The non-title bout versus Nikki Bella took place at the beginning of January 2015, and the British native won. Paige and Natalya later partnered up against The Bella Twins at the Royal Rumble event, where Paige’s team came up short in the final bout. For the WrestleMania event, Paige teamed up with Lee once again, this time against The Bella Twins, who she had defeated before. Paige and Lee were victorious at the conclusion of the match.

Brooke Tessmacher’s biography includes information about her age, career, TNA, modeling, net worth, and children’s IG accounts. Paige, Charlotte, and Becky came together to establish a group they called PCB. The PCB then faced off against each other at the SummerSlam in a three-team elimination match, which Paige won over Becky after a close loss to her.

Charlotte is now ranked first in the Divas’ race against the clock, which was held later on by the PCB. When Bevis won the fatal four-way match in November 2015, she became the new number one contender for Charlotte’s Divas Championship, surpassing the previous number one contender.

After suffering a minor injury, the young fighter decided to take a sabbatical from wrestling and instead performed in various television programs. In the next episode of Raw, which aired on January 18th, 2016, she teamed up with Natalya to compete against Brie Bella, she officially returned to her career.

Following her comeback, she teamed up with Total Divas teammates Brie Bella, Natalya, Alicia Fox, and Eva Marie to compete in a 10-Diva tag team match on the WrestleMania 32 kick-off event, where they defeated Lana, Naomi, Tamina, Summer Rae, and Emma in the process. Paige’s squad came away with a convincing win in the match.

The teenage footballer was punished for 30 days on August 17 after he was found to have violated the company’s wellness policy. Paige stated in September 2016 that she will be undergoing neck surgery on October 19 and that she would be out of the ring for an unspecified period of time. Paige was banned for a second time on October 10 for violating the wellness policy, this time for a period of 60 days, for the second time. She returned to the ring in September 2017 after making a full recovery from her surgery the previous year.

Paige had neck surgery for the second time in December 2017, after a six-woman tag-team bout, when Sasha Banks kicked her in the neck. However, this time, after her recuperation, she did not return to the ring to compete again. On April 9, 2018, the teenage wrestler formally announced his retirement from the sport.

Paige began working as a general manager for SmackDown Live on April 10, 2018, after her retirement from professional wrestling in 2017. For a few weeks, the teenage wrestler took a vacation from SmackDown to promote a film based on her story, Fighting with My Family, which she has been promoting since. After a few weeks, she returned to SmackDown once again, but this time she appeared on the show’s backstage on April 10, 2019.

Paige made an off-screen cameo on the episode of SmackDown that aired on Skype on March 20, 2020, as a result of her neck surgery. ‘The Wrestlers: Fighting with My Family,’ a documentary on the Bevis family, was shown on Channel 4 in July 2012 as part of the network’s wrestling coverage. She has appeared in six WWE video games, notably WWE 2K15, WWE 2K16, WWE 2K17, WWE 2K18, WWE 2K19, and WWE 2K20. She has also appeared on the WWE Network television show.

Paige has also made guest appearances on the television shows Total Divas in October 2014 and E! during the second half of the third season of Total Divas. She is the first and only woman to hold both the ‘WWE Divas Championship’ and the ‘NXT Women’s Championship’ titles at the same time in the same organization. The ‘GSW Ladies Championship’ title is one of many titles she has held throughout her career. Others include the ‘HEW Women’s Championship’ title, the ‘PWF Ladies Tag Championship’ title, the ‘Pro-Wrestling: EVE Championship’ title, the ‘RDW Woman’s Championship’ title, the ‘Swiss Championship Wrestling (SCW) Ladies Championship’ title, and the ‘RQW Women’s Championship’ title.
