Jacqueline Moore Bio

Jacqueline DeLois Moore is an American professional wrestler and professional wrestling manager. She was born on January 6, 1964, in the United States. She worked as a wrestler, manager, and road agent for World Championship Wrestling from 1997–1998 and later for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. However, she is best known for her time in WWE (known as the World Wrestling Federation until 2002) from 1998 to 2004. During that time, she became the first African American to win the WWE Cruiserweight championship. In addition, she was one of three women to hold the tournament. Her time in WWE has brought her the most fame.

She started her career in World Class Championship Wrestling. Still, she was also widely known in the United States Wrestling Association, where she won the women’s championship fourteen times. After that, she went on to World Championship Wrestling, where she was the manager of the Harlem Heat for a little while. She became a member of the World Wrestling Federation (which would eventually become World Wrestling Entertainment) in 1998.

She started managing Marc Mero and had her first battle with Sable, which led to the re-establishment of the WWF Women’s Championship, which Moore won twice while in the WWF. In 1999, she collaborated with Terri Runnels and Ryan Shamrock to start an organization for women only that they named the Pretty Mean Sisters. Moore worked as a referee and trainer for the WWF in the early 2000s. She also held the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, a championship that males typically had.

She was the third woman to achieve the feat, but the only woman to do it under the WWE brand (after Madusa and Daffney in WCW). She was the only woman to complete the feat. In 2004, she became a TNA member, serving mainly as a manager and sometimes competed in wrestling. Moore went on to compete for the United States Wrestling Association in Memphis, Tennessee, where she was referred to as Miss Texas throughout her time there.

During Texas vs. Tennessee rivalry, she debuted as a Heel Valet to Eric Embry and Tom Prichard as a member of team Texas. During the conflict, Texas was competing against Tennessee. Later on, she became embroiled in a rivalry with the Dirty White Girl Kim Anthony, during which they competed in a Mudpit bout and a Hair vs. Hair bout, both of which Anthony won. Moore’s hair was chopped off due to Anthony’s victory in the last match. She competed in a competition on March 2, 1992, and emerged victorious to become the very first USWA Women’s Champion in the organization’s history.

Moore exchanged the championship with Lauren Davenport, Luna Vachon, and Debbie Combs eight times between March 1992 and August 1996, giving each of them a turn to hold the title.[9] Moore made history in 1993 by being the first Woman to be recognized as one of the top 500 professional wrestlers in the world by being featured in the Pro Wrestling Illustrated 500 list. In 1995, Moore fought with Sweet Georgia Brown, the valet for Reggie B. Fine and Don Bass.

Brown felt threatened by Texas when the USWA broadcast a music video of Moore, which led to several catfights between the two states. In the latter part of 1995, Moore got into a fight with Uptown Karen, Downtown Bruno’s lover. During the conflict, Moore allied himself with Sweet Georgia Brown, who had previously been his adversary. The Miss Texas and Uptown Karen dispute came to a head as a Hair vs. Hair contest, which Texas ultimately prevailed in.

Additionally, she wrestled in Herb Abrams’ Universal Wrestling Federation, where she was victorious in the women’s division and took home the championship belt in 1994. In the latter part of 1993, she participated in a Jeff Jarrett advertisement for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in which Jarrett would be mocking a young man’s singing voice. As part of a collaboration between the WWF and the USWA, Jacqueline was supposed to enter the WWF under the ring name Wynonna as a manager for Jeff Jarrett. Jackie participated in the production of vignettes, but she left the WWF before making her debut because of an injury. In addition, she was featured in the February 1994 issue of what was then known as WWF Magazine.

Moore started sending images of herself to World Championship Wrestling (WCW), which is situated in Atlanta, Georgia. Eventually, an employee of WCW named J. J. Dillon got in touch with her and gave her a contract to wrestle for the company. Jacqueline made her first appearance in WCW as Kevin Sullivan’s manager. She assisted Sullivan in his matches by body-slamming his opponents. She sided with Sullivan in his fight against Chris Benoit and fought against Sullivan’s ex-wife, who was also named Woman.

At the Bash at the Beach in 1997, her association with Sullivan ended when she slammed a wooden chair over Sullivan’s head, which caused him to lose a Loser Must Retire battle against Chris Benoit. This action led to Sullivan’s retirement. On August 9, at Road Wild, Jacqueline was promoted to manager of Harlem Heat. She then became involved in a skirmish with Disco Inferno, whom she ultimately prevailed over at Halloween Havoc on the 26th of October. Moore re-joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in the middle of 1998, making her first appearance on the June 1 edition of Raw as the new on-screen girlfriend of Marc Mero. She then started a rivalry with Mero’s ex-wife, Sable, who had just filed for divorce.

Moore was beaten by Sable in a bikini competition on July 26, 1998, at Fully Loaded: In Your House. Sable won the match by removing her halter top to expose a painted-on bikini top, which Moore could not see. Moore was proclaimed the victor when WWF Chairman Vince McMahon disqualified Sable for not competing in a conventional bikini. Sable had been the favorite to win the competition. At the SummerSlam event held on August 30, Sable and Edge were victorious over Moore and Mero. She would also compete against Sable in a controversial evening gown battle on the edition of Raw that aired on September 14, 1998. During this bout, she would reveal one of her breasts.

Moore beat Sable in September to win the WWF Women’s Championship, which had been dormant since the Women’s Championship was discontinued in December 1995. Moore is the first African-American Woman to win the WWF Women’s Championship. After another two months, the championship match occurred at Survivor Series, where Sable emerged victorious against Moore. On the episode of Sunday Night Heat aired on November 22, Moore and Mero announced their decision to end their relationship. Shortly afterward, Moore created a new alliance of women known as the Pretty Mean Sisters (PMS) with Terri Runnels, who was split from her husband, Goldust.

On the edition of Raw that aired on November 23, Jacqueline and Terri interrupted a bout between Mero and Goldust by entering the ring and low-blowing both competitors. Initially, they joined forces with D’Lo Brown and Mark Henry and accompanied them to the call for a bout against Val Venis and The Godfather at Rock Bottom: In Your House in December. After being knocked off the ring apron by Brown in January, Terri said she had a miscarriage because of the trauma she experienced.
